It's great to see that there are law enforcement that want to end the prohibition policy towards drugs in this country. The war on drugs needs to end.

Dean Becker has been fighting the drug war for a number of years and from a number of angles. As well as being a member of LEAP he also runs a pair of weekly radio programs under the Drug Truth Network at http://www.drugtruth.net/cms/

If anyone wants to see what one approach to legalizing might look like a thread I did 9 months or so ago explores the subject a little bit. If anyone out there has a law enforcement background I'd be glad to talk with them about the subject, or they could just contact LEAP and talk to one of the cops there about it. Peter Christ (rhymes with twist) has a great and hard nosed attitude about it which I liked myself, nothing of a dreamer in his approach, but most would probably be worth a long talk with.
