On another note is there no general animal or pet channel? Only options I see are catsanddogs (which is rather specific) and nature (which is extremely broad).

The catsanddogs channel used to be for just cats and dogs, but it has since become cats and dogs + others, meaning for domesticated pets and other animals... therefore, this doesn't belong in the nature channel. I hope that clarifies things.
